Yoan El Duque Soriano busts out his third album and his first for Batey Records, the Santo Domingo Blues label. Soriano performs live in the film and many of the tracks on the album are heard in the film. Some highlights include Track #1 Ya encontre la mujer (I Found The Woman), which displays his inimitable guitar phrasings and is full of afro-dominican rhythms and other-wordly call and response choruses from deep in the batey. Track #2 El Hombre Tuyo Soy Yo (I'm Your Man) is a bouncy love song that exemplifies the way drum rhythms are transposed to the guitar in bachata. Track #4 Los Que Me Esperaban, Llegue (For the Ones Waiting, I've Arrived) This is a merengue done in bachata style, called merengue sepillado (brushed merengue, i.e. on the guitar).
